Although we are kept busy with our Clearcast for Better focus areas, we still find time to get creative and organise themed ad hoc fundraising events.
Last Halloween we allied with our social committee team to create a spooky film night event. All funds raised went to The Trussell Trust, who run a network of food-banks, supporting 13 million people living below the poverty line.
This summer saw our very first Clearcast world cup event, hosted on (what felt like) the the hottest 29th June on record. Teams from Channel 4 and The ASA battled it out to win the golden trophy. Well done to you, ASA. As well as being lots of fun we raised over £800 for the charity, Bloody Good Period.
All staff continue to set up their own fundraising pages and events and we continue to support them in their efforts, good job!
