In the world of advertising where little stands still for long, Clearcast is constantly seeking to reinforce its team of consultants to ensure it has expertise to call on should it become necessary.  In recent years we have seen an increase in the technical and capability claims being made for sports equipment and golf equipment in particular.  To help us with the consideration of claims in this area we added in Autumn 2007 Professor Steve Haake to our team of consultants.

Steve is head of the Sports Engineering Research Group at Sheffield Hallam University.  He studied physics at Leeds University and lectured in mechanical engineering for fifteen years.  He founded the International Sports Engineering Association, the Journal of Sports Engineering and the International Conference in Sports Engineering.  Steve has edited nine books, contributed to over 100 published papers and given several keynote speeches worldwide.
