When to contact us
Our office hours are Monday-Friday 9am – 6pm.
If you need to speak to a member of our copy clearance team, please note that all copy clearance staff take part in a daily meeting. This usually runs from around 10am — 12pm. It may be hard to reach them during this time.
What to do if your usual contact is away
If your Executive is away his/her work will be covered either by one of our cover team or by another member of staff. You can find out who will be covering after around 10:30am by emailing us.

If you are an Agency, direct dial numbers for your Clearcast contact can be found using our Exec Finder on the right hand side, or in your contact’s email signature. It might also help you to know we follow the approach email@example.com.
Telephone calls to and from Clearcast may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes. When you dial into Clearcast, you’ll hear a recorded message reminding you of this.
Complaining about an ad?

If you want to complain about an advert you’ve seen on TV, please contact the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) who have the power to investigate adverts. When they receive complaints they decide whether they merit further investigation and, in the case of TV ads, will contact Clearcast to hear our rationale for why we cleared them. The ASA will then adjudicate on the complaints and publish their decision along with a summary of submissions they have received from the relevant advertiser and Clearcast.
We work for and on behalf of the UK broadcasters and much of the information that informs our decisions is submitted on a confidential basis; as a result we are unable to discuss ad clearance decisions and complaints with the public.
