Photosensitive Epilepsy and Flashing Images
The Ofcom Guidance Note for Licensees on Flashing Images and Regular Patterns in Television has specific guidelines to deal with images and techniques which might cause problems for viewers with photosensitive epilepsy.
These guidelines, originally produced by the ITC, were revised in July 2001 and 2002 and were taken up by Ofcom in 2005. To download these guidelines click below.
