Revised Alcohol Advertising Rules

These new rules will apply to all new television advertising proposals submitted for approval after 1st January 2005.

For television advertising proposals currently in the pipeline, the existing Ofcom alcohol advertising rules apply.

For approved alcohol television advertising which is currently on-air, there is a period of grace until the end of September 2005.
 
All the television advertising codes can be found the ASA website www.asa.org.uk.
