Mr. Capron-Tee is a retired chartered engineer who has worked in the vacuum cleaner industry for more than 40 years. He has worked for companies like Hoover, Shop Vac, Goblin and Vax.

Currently, as a consultant, Mr. Capron-Tee works with most vacuum cleaner companies around the world.

Mr. Capron-Tee is presently chairman of the BSI and IEC committees dealing with vacuum cleaner performance measurement. He is also chairman of the US ASTM F11 international sub-committee working with vacuum cleaner performance.
